Sit back, relax and watch this baby polar bear play with a traffic cone

Look at this baby polar bear. Look at her and have your heart melt at the sight of her. Look at how excited she is to meet a traffic cone in her playground. Her name is Nora, and she made her public debut at the Columbus Zoo on Friday. According to the zoo, she was born in November 2015 and, unfortunately, the zoo had trouble getting the mother to take care of her. The crew stepped to nurture Nora, and six months and 50 pounds later, the kind people in Powell, Ohio can look lovingly at this adorable bear.

Meanwhile, the cone’s name is Coney the Inanimate Traffic Cone* and although we don’t know much about him, we know that Nora loves him very much. At one point, Nora wears Coney and they combine to make a polar bear/unicorn hybrid, which means she’s kind of ready to go into battle if she’s ever needed for that.

*That cone doesn’t actually have a name, but you should pretend it does, because someday, someone’s going to write a children’s book about how Nora and Coney go on (mis)adventures and it’s going to be too adorable to get on the New York Times’ best sellers list.
