Irish runner pulls off astonishing 4x400 comeback causing bedlam in the announcers’ booth

“FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL!”

I used to run the 4x800 in high school, so I feel like I have a decent idea of the thrill of a good relay race. But you haven’t seen anything until you see (and hear) this one. The crazy finish took place at the Irish University Athletics Association Track and Field Championships for the 4X400 meter race. The video is off the entire race (and its really good all the way through) but you can catch the last lap starting around 3:00 minutes. Turn up the volume, the announcers rival the fantastic athletes as MVP.

“FROM THE DEPTHS OF HELL!” - That is how you announce something, my friends. What a great race.
