The Wild showed why scoring on your own net is not an ideal strategy when facing elimination

Game 6 was make or break for the Dallas Stars. After all, the team did blown the opportunity to clinch the series against the Wild in Game 5 by abandoning their game plan in overtime. They needed to take control early in the first period, which they did with aplomb.

Things went so well that the Wild were even scoring for them. Poor Devan Dubnik accidentally maneuvered the puck into his own net! This is not ideal.
