When LeBron James announced in October that he was letting his endorsement deal with McDonald's expire and instead signing on as a sponsor and investor with the new fast-casual pizza chain Blaze Pizza, we should've expected some heavy and constant advertising on LeBron's part.
LeBron James went ‘undercover’ as an employee for a pizza chain he invests in
King James is notably an investor and spokesman for Blaze Pizza, but still gets asked if he’s Dwyane Wade in a new ad put out by the fast-casual chain.

Sure enough, Blaze released a YouTube video on Friday from a visit LeBron paid to a Pasadena, Calif. location in March to moonlight on the pizza assembly line. Double takes and awkward hilarity soon followed:
"Ron" proceeded to proclaim his love for spicy sauce, said "There's nothing wrong with Michigan," get confused with Dwyane Wade by a customer and insist he was quite unfamiliar with this sport thing called basketball.
It should be noted that the King of Cleveland does have a significant stake in the success of Blaze Pizza. He’s been a founding investor since 2012 and actually owns 10 franchises across South Florida (none in Northeast Ohio...?). According to ESPN.com, LeBron apparently holds a stake in about 10 percent of the company, in addition to the franchises he owns in Florida and Chicago.
That being said, LeBron also peppers his social media followers with updates to his consumption of fast-casual dining.
