Brawl breaks out between New York Red Bulls and New York City FC fans

We’ve been waiting for soccer to engender the same passion on the East Coast as Portland Timbers and Seattle Sounders fans enjoy in the Pacific Northwest, but this is beyond the pale. On Saturday afternoon fans of the New York Red Bulls and New York City FC clashed ahead of their MLS game in Yankee Stadium.
There are no reported injuries or arrests so far, which means there could be more to come from this -- or perhaps this is all just fake hooliganism for show. Either way it’s a bad look.

This isn’t the first time the sides have clashed. Now the police are involved, so it’s escalating.
