Timbers fans unveil amazing ‘Mars Attacks’ tifo promoting the annihilation of Canada

The Portland Timbers upped MLS’s tifo game by an order of magnitudes on Sunday afternoon when fans unfurled a Mars Attacks banner in honor of the Vancouver Whitecaps. The Cascadia Rivarly continues between the Pacific Northwest’s three top teams, but we hadn’t seen such support for the wanton destruction of a country until now.
It’s not just the tifo itself, it’s the trimmings that make this great. Fans holding supplementary “ACK ACK ACK” banners, and of course, the forever reassuring message “Do not run, we are your friends.”
