Usher is a minority owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers. He’s around the team a lot, even singing the national anthem before a game. So it was no surprise he was at Game 4 of the NBA Finals. But, then an odd thing happened.
Usher went to the Warriors locker room to celebrate after being left hanging by LeBron

After the game, Usher went over to LeBron James as he was leaving the court to greet him after the loss. LeBron either didn’t realize what was happening and who was talking to him, or didn’t care. The result was this awkward interaction that mostly left Usher hanging.
In James’ defense, he just finished a tough game. And he did at least attempt to acknowledge Usher. Still, that’s a pretty serious cold shoulder.
Did Usher take it personally? Hard to say, but here he was moments later with Steph Curry ...
Did his interaction with LeBron spur his interaction with Curry? Maybe! Regardless, there he is happy to be dapping up Curry after the Cavs -- a team he owns part of -- lost to fall down 3-1 in the NBA Finals. Say what you want about Drake switching teams, Usher just pulled the biggest switcheroo of all.
