Rascally rabbit delays minor league baseball game
We don’t see many sports rabbits, unfortunately. The last notable sports rabbit was the one in Canada that jumped really high and did a barrel roll. Still, rabbits are always welcome, even if they cause a delay like this one did during Monday’s game between the Memphis Redbirds and Iowa Cubs.
I would say this was a chase between stadium employees and this rabbit, but humans barely got within feet of it, aside from the rabbit’s lapse in judgment when it went down the camera well and realized there were humans in it. With some help from an employee holding a fence open, the rabbit escaped just fine. For now. Until a bird decides to swipe it. You never know.
