Prince Fielder crushed a home run right into this poor fan’s cell phone screen
A Rangers fan was sitting in deep right field, checking her cell phone during the game. That’s a dangerous thing to do when Prince Fielder is batting, and sure enough he ripped a long home run right in her direction. Seeing the ball coming at her, the fan reacted instinctively and put her iPhone up to protect her.
The good news? The iPhone did its job, and she didn’t get hit in the face.
The bad news? The home run ball smashed her iPhone screen.
To make matters even worse, the ball deflected away to another fan who kept it. Insult to injury. At least she was given a signed ball as a consolation prize. She can take a photo of the new ball and post it on social media ... as soon as she gets a new phone.
