Justin Rose bet a Ryder Cup practice heckler $100 that he couldn’t make a putt. He made it.
The 2016 Ryder Cup hasn’t officially started yet, but we already have a highlight. During practice, a heckler named Dave Johnson was egging on Team Europe’s Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson, saying they couldn’t make the putt. Stenson caught Johnson yelling, and actually challenged him to make the shot with Andy Sullivan’s putter. To make things more interesting, Rose bet him $100 and slapped that bill on the ground.
Well, Rose lost that $100 bill, because Johnson made the shot. This is actually a way better outcome than if he missed and lost out on a cool $100 from Team Europe. Well played, sir.
