It wouldn’t be Super Bowl Sunday without the Puppy Bowl, and this year, there are a lot of good dogs participating. The actual, full show will air hours before the NFL takes over so many televisions, but if you want to watch these good dogs now, and if you own a virtual reality device, Animal Planet’s put up a couple 360 videos as a sneak peek. Get these pups all up in your face.
Puppy Bowl 2017: Watch these good dogs in virtual reality

It’s the second time Animal Planet’s using VR as part of the Puppy Bowl, albeit not part of the actual show. The real Puppy Bowl, as our feature video revealed last year (which you can watch below), actually takes place in a studio with three closed walls and one open side for the cameras. Plus, it takes days to film and months to edit so many hours to make a two-hour Puppy Bowl. A 360 video stream of a full Puppy Bowl may happen someday, but thanks to the production-related logistics, it will have to remain a fantasy for now.
But the videos we have now will suffice. Who says no to puppies in virtual reality? Heartless monsters, that’s who. Puppy Bowl XIII airs on Feb. 5 at 3 p.m. ET.
