Young boy battling brain cancer has his wish of meeting Stephen Curry come true

In the grand scheme of things, sports are relatively inconsequential. They are for play, and for fun, and don’t always mean much.

But then, there are times where sports create something that means everything. Stephen Curry shared a moment like that on Wednesday, meeting with a young fan named Ahmad who is batting a major illness.

Curry played a basketball game in front of thousands of people on Wednesday night with possibly millions watching on TV. He scored 28 points and helped the Golden State Warriors notch another win. But, there is no question the most important thing he did at the arena that night was spend this time with Ahmad.

This was a great moment. One Ahmad will likely never forget. Sometimes sports are so much more than playing with a ball.
