The Blazers played the Grizzlies on Friday night and during the game, Memphis’ Chandler Parsons airballed a three-pointer. The Blazers, as sports team do on Twitter, had a little fun with it.
Chandler Parsons tried to burn the Blazers on Twitter and got obliterated by C.J. McCollum
Ohhhh my.

That’s a fairly harmless joke. Certainly meaningless to a professional athlete who hears much worse from opposing crowds every game. But, Parsons saw it, and fired back.
Oh snap, a little feud between an NBA player and a NBA team Twitter account. The Blazers social media team was probably busy thinking up a response when Portland guard C.J. McCollum stepped in to end the fight.
That’s it. It’s over. It doesn’t matter how Parsons or anyone responded after that. That response from McCollum would be like a couple of teenagers sparring in the gym when Mike Tyson in his prime shows up and starts laying everyone out.
The Blazers pursued Parsons in free agency and even made an offer, but he opted to sign with Memphis. And now that decision has paid off for everyone on Twitter not named Chandler Parsons.
