I’m not one to get worked up watching a video, but Slippery Stairs changed all that.
‘Slippery Stairs’ is the world’s most frustrating game show. You should definitely watch it.
Japan has the best game shows.

The principle here is simple: Get six people, put them in slick body suits, put them in front of a staircase and cover that staircase in as much lube as humanly possible. What ensues really runs the gamut of human experience for the viewer.
Minutes 0-3: This is really funny.
Minutes 4-5: America needs game shows like this!
Minute 6: Nobody is going to make it up this thing.
Minute 7: Okay, now this is getting ridiculous.
Minute 8: This is past dumb. Everyone is tired. I can’t keep watching.
Minute 9: WHAT IS HAPPENING THEY WERE SO CLOSE OH GOD THIS TORMENT MUST STOP MAKE IT STOP PLEASE!!!
This concept would never make it in America, because we’d overdo it. This clip of Slippery Stairs is part of a larger variety show. Good (and frustrating) things come in small packages. If this made it to the U.S. we’d spin it into an hour-long show, with five heats and totally kill what makes this beautiful and horrible.
Honestly, it’s a good thing it’s not an everyday thing — because I don’t know how many times I could watch this without being frustrated.
