Something jumped out of Tyronn Lue’s mouth. What the heck was it?

Sunday’s Cavs game was weird for a couple reasons. You’ve got this ending where Cleveland couldn’t capitalize on the Hawks’ Isaiah Taylor missing both free throws. But minutes before that, the internet caught this Tyronn Lue moment where he yells and something comes out of his mouth. I don’t know what — and it’s probably a ring — but I can’t stop watching this.

We gotta pause this.

I have a few guesses as to what the hell happened here:

This is an obvious guess. It’s a circular shape. It’s got a bright color, like it’s shiny and metallic. If it’s a ring, I don’t know why he’s keeping it in his mouth, though. He has 10 digits on both hands, and he couldn’t use one of them to store that thing? That is, unless he’s a serial chewer of small metal things, which, based on countless visits to the dentist, is bad for your mouth.

I’m also open to conceding in my head-canon that this is what he was chewing on. If you’re not prone to biting on hard candy, Life Savers can melt into a thin circle, and you can turn it into a game where you try to melt the candy to its thinnest before it breaks. That being said, it fell out of his mouth and presumably hit the dirty floor, and I really hope Lue didn’t put it back in his mouth, five-second rule be damned.

This is easier to chew on than a ring, but there’s also small spiky things on the seal that make it uncomfortable to chew on. I don’t think Lue chewed on this.

He’s a cyborg, and his parts are slowly breaking off as his frustration grows with the Cavs struggling 10 games into the season.

This is similar to the cyborg situation, but the scary drowning music is playing in his head, and a ring magically appeared out of his mouth mid-yell.

Actually, you know what, I’ve decided Tyronn Lue is Sonic the Hedgehog. Case closed.
