Just when you thought 2017 couldn’t get weirder: Diddy is having beef with a wrestling personality from 30 years ago. It centers on this video.
Diddy is changing his name to ‘Brother Love’ and former WWE superstar Brother Love is so mad
What the ...

Diddy is changing his name to “Love,” which he’s also comfortable with people calling him “Brother Love.” One problem here: Brother Love, who worked for WWE during the late 80s and early 90s, isn’t happy.
Prichard created the “Brother Love” character in the WWE (then called the WWF) and modeled it after a sleazy televangelist who served as the manager for several superstars, including The Undertaker.
The character was eventually axed after coming too close to some real-world controversies surrounding televangelists, and it wasn’t until 1995 that he returned and was a semi-regular staple until his release in 2008. Now Prichard is upset Diddy is trying to steal his gimmick, when in reality Diddy probably never knew it was a thing. Since Diddy’s video, Prichard’s timeline has been a ceaseless string of retweeting anyone claiming Diddy is infringing on the character.
Then there’s Prichard’s oddly threatening end to his tweet: “Remember North Carolina,” which remains unanswered. This whole thing is bizarre.
