College football’s biggest rivals came together for an awesome Christmas Twitter thread

‘Tis the season!

College football is all about long-standing traditions and bitter rivalries — but dozens of college programs put their differences aside to come together for Christmas. The teams’ Twitter accounts created an awesome and incredibly long thread of “The Night Before Christmas” — and each one changed the lyrics and image to match their team!

It’s pretty awesome and a great way to spread some holiday cheer, so grab a glass of eggnog, sit in front of the fire and read the entire thread below:

Wow — congrats on making it to the end of the thread! I don’t think I realized there were that many college football teams OR lines in that poem!

That said — it’s very cool to see all those teams coming together. After all, that’s what the holiday spirit is all about.
