Here is the UCLA Bruin mascot trying to distract an opponent by mooning him

Fans, mascots, and players have tried just about anything to distract an opposing free-throw shooter. That list now includes a human in a bear costume pulling down their basketball shorts and spanking their bare bear butt.

Apologies for not blurring out the bear butt. We understand this might be offensive to some.

While this was certainly an interesting tactic, it wasn’t very effective. The Oregon free-throw shooter made the shot despite being mooned.
