The Golden State Warriors like to celebrate. That is nothing new. Players celebrating made shots before they go in isn’t a new thing either. But, on Wednesday, Steph Curry took it to a new level.
Steph Curry celebrated Klay Thompson’s 30-foot 3-pointer before he even shot it

It’s one thing to celebrate early on a wide-open shot from a normal distance. But Klay Thompson stepping into a 30-footer with a defender closing is not a normal shot. That didn’t stop Curry.
Thompson was on fire at that point as part of a huge third quarter run. That doesn’t diminish the fact Curry is practically celebrating before Thompson even caught the ball. He hasn’t even started his shooting motion yet!
I guess when you outscore a team 42-15 in a quarter, you can do whatever you want.
