Have you been waiting for a movie to be made about Tom Brady and DeflateGate? Too bad, it’s happening anyway. Deadline is reporting that the team behind The Fighter and Patriots Day are in the process of writing a screenplay which will focus on the controversy behind DeflateGate and the subsequent rise of the Patriots to win Super Bowl 51.
Tom Brady and DeflateGate are getting a movie
These are the roles Mark Wahlberg was born to play.

The report says the writers already have several sources inside the Patriots’ organization willing to provide them with firsthand accounts of what happened during the saga, which gives this a little more oomph than a standard sports film.
Now the tricky part becomes casting this sucker. Obviously you’ve got to have Brady, Bill Belichick, Rob Gronkowski, and Roger Goodell. It’s going to be difficult to find people with that talent.
Wait a second ... SB Nation’s Deputy Engagement Editor Dayana Sarkisova had the PERFECT idea for this movie.
It’s a movie inherently about Boston, written by guys who have used Wahlberg in every movie. Yeah ... this needs to happen. Meet your cast!
Tom Wahlberg
Bill Wahlberg
Gronk Wahlberg
Roger Wahlberg
and introducing ... Mark Wahlberg, as “the football.”
It’s going to be great.
