Bets around the world are still being paid off for Super Bowl LI in which the Patriots came back from a 25-point deficit against the Falcons. One of those involves beer.
Atlanta brewery made a deflating Patriots-themed beer to make good on Super Bowl bet
It’s an extra pale ale.

Atlanta’s SweetWater Brewing company made a bet with Boston-based Sam Adams that the losing team would have to wear the other team’s colors for a day, send a worker to the other brewery as an intern, and rename a beer after their opponent.
The good folks at SweetWater did indeed wear Sam Adams gear last week:
On Wednesday, SweetWater posted a photo of the Patriot Extra Pale Ale on Twitter, with the label describing the beer. It just so happens to take shots at the Patriots about DeflateGate:
Soul crushing pale ale that will leave you feeling deflated. No G.O.A.T. harmed in the creation of this beer (but we gave it our best shot.)” #rogerthat
Since the cans were so limited with just 100 available, SweetWater ran out of them rather quickly, though it’s still available on tap until Sunday.
If you’re in the Atlanta area, go hit up Zoo Atlanta to see the Madagascar hissing cockroach named after Tom Brady. Then swing by SweetWater and have a sip of this deflating beer.
