An Air Force flyover opening the Ski-WM 2017 resulted in something we simply never see.
Air Force flyover causes near-disaster at ski race in Switzerland

A Swiss Air Force plane, one of nine flying over the St. Moritz slopes, accidentally went a little too low and clipped an anchor line holding an overhead camera getting shots of the proceedings. It broke the camera’s housing, causing it to crash to the earth amidst the gasp of spectators.
Thankfully nobody was hurt in the accident, but racing director Markus Waldner was not pleased with the mistake.
“That’s stupid, they should have been flying a bit higher.”
It could have been much, much worse. The camera was anchored above the ski lifts used to take competitors to the top of the mountain. Luckily the camera fell between the lifts, rather than crashing through the Plexiglas canopy of one of them.
The end result was delayed competition, but nothing more serious.
