Atlanta United allowed its first MLS preseason goal in the saddest way ever

Be nicer to Atlanta, sports.

After a shutout 4-0 win in its first preseason game ever, Atlanta United created the first clip for its blooper reel:

Oh, man. Goalkeeper Alec Kann just didn’t see Federico Higuain right there, I guess?

“Things like that happen,” Kann told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Thankfully, it was a preseason game. It was a bonehead move on my part.”

It’s no 25-point lead or anything, but sad nonetheless. Welcome to MLS, Atlanta. We hope this goes better for you.
