OK, lacrosse teams around the country: We need to talk. At this point, you’ve seen it happen to Navy and Loyola in the same dang month. You know this play is coming, and if any team allows for the hat trick, you’ll be a laughing stock.
Not only was this the same play, it was the same PLAYER both times. Joel Tinney is quickly becoming the hidden ball master of college lacrosse. There are no excuses, lacrosse world. If Tinney looks like he’s passing late in the game, he’s probably not.
