The internet is freaking out of Colby Rasmus’ new look. The Rays outfielder turned up to spring training looking like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo if the ghosts finally broke Shaggy and he became a weird conspiracy theorist.
What makes this beard so intriguing is that there’s no visual evidence it’s attached to his chin at all. You know that rabbit-duck illusion? It’s kind of like that. If you begin at the hat and slowly work your eyes down you’d swear it’s growing from his chin, but if you start at his necklace and work out, it suddenly appears like a small shrub is protruding from his neck horizontally.
