South Carolina artist Joe Everett has carved out a niche by blending two incredible talents: Painting and singing. He has performed in the NBA, NHL, minor league hockey and on Monday night he did his signature art ahead of a Arkansas Basketball game.
The painting starts with a semi-complete canvas you’re sure look like some majestic mountains, but it’s not until the last 10 seconds when he flips the canvas that you realize he’s completed an homage to the iconic photo of American soldiers in World War 2 raising the flag at Iwo Jima.
This is one of the great anthem performance of all time and we don’t care how many times he does this. It always gets us.
