One of the best new traditions in tennis is returning to the Brazilian open: Very good ball dogs. The dogs are rescues, taken from local shelters are given a chance to be seen on a bright stage. Video from last year shows just how good these puppers are.
Very good rescue dogs are going to be tennis ballpups at the Brazilian Open again

They get their little pup bandanas and little pup sweatbands and get to play with tennis balls all day. It’s hard work, but also fun — and these dogs deserve it. The Dodo translated the press release on the pups returning to the Brazilian open.
“No matter their origin or age, when they are loved and fed properly [rescued dogs] can be wonderful companions. [They can] play, learn new things and accomplish great deeds. They are dogs that have had difficulties in life, yes. But what we want to show is not the stories suffered in the past, rather to prove that, regardless of what they’ve experienced, they can be great companions today and in the future!”
Now we just need @dog_rates to grade every single one of these splendid canines.
