So no wonder the American Hockey League has suspended Iowa Wild forward Kurtis Gabriel indefinitely for his actions over the weekend when he let an in-game fight spill over into a hallway.
The Minnesota Wild prospect got into a scrum with Chicago Wolves (and St. Louis Blues) defenseman Vince Dunn late in a game on Saturday after Gabriel laid a big hit on him that Dunn didn’t like. You can find it around the 4:10 mark here:
And then Gabriel went after Dunn as they both headed off to the locker rooms. It did not end well for him.
The AHL suspended Dunn indefinitely “pending completion of a league review of his actions in a game at Chicago on Feb. 25.”
