Let’s recap what happened here. Michael Carter-Williams stood in place. Harden somehow ended up getting a piggy back ride on Carter-Williams. The weight of Harden ultimately tackled Carter-Williams to the court. And despite all of that, Carter-Williams got whistled for the foul.
