The most politically charged commercial of the Super Bowl came from the Pennsylvania-based 84 Lumber, whose ad “The Entire Journey” showcased a mother and daughter’s journey through Mexico and their path to becoming legal U.S. citizens. What we didn’t see during the game was the part of the commercial that FOX banned, deeming it “too controversial” to be shown during the Super Bowl.
Here’s the Super Bowl ad about Trump’s border wall FOX didn’t allow because it was ‘too controversial’

That moment was the mother and daughter completing their journey only to be met with the border wall keeping them out of the United States.
Instead the aired version finished asking people to visit the company’s website to see the conclusion — rather than ending with the wall as a cliffhanger.
Speaking to The Washington Post, 84 Lumber explained their decision to change the ad but ensure their full unedited version would remain online.
“We all felt too strongly about the message to leave it on the editing room floor. The commercial that will air during the Super Bowl does not have the ending we originally wanted, but the message has not changed. Our message is that America is the land of opportunity and 84 Lumber is the company of opportunity.”
On Monday the company changed its focus to direct people interested in their ad to a website, journey84.com, which contains the full commercial as they intended, along with a link to the company’s careers page inviting people to “Begin their journey with us.”
FOX has not commented on the decision to ask 84 Lumber to change their ad to be less political. This on a night where Bill O’Reilly interviewed president Trump before the game, and former president Bush tossed the coin to start the Super Bowl.
Here is a the full uncut version of the ad, which 84 Lumber intended to show.
