Paris Saint-Germain was robbed of a goal thanks to a muddy soccer pitch
mud> goalie

Having a goalie is the most effective way to stop opponents from scoring on your team. That goes without saying. But what if your goalie is nowhere to be found? Well, then you simply have to pray and hope Mother Nature intervenes as the ball makes its way to the net.
But to be fair, nature probably isn’t going to send a random gust of wind. But you might get lucky with mud!
It worked for Paris Saint-Germain. They got the help against Chamois Niortais FC on Wednesday. The pitch was in such terrible condition that the ball stopped in the mud before PSG was able to score.
The game ended 2-0 with PSG winning. But they could’ve had one more goal.
Now, we’re not condoning cheating in a game by getting a hose and making a making everything by the goalpost muddy. But if you happen to play in a field that’s already soaked, you might be lucky enough to get some additional help.
