Watch these MMA fighters knock each other out at the same time

James Dator
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

MMA fighters Axel Cazares and Alan Vasquez fought each other at Shamrock FC 285 in Kansas City over the weekend and ended their fight in the least-predictable way possible — a double KO.

Cazares and Vasquez threw identical rights at the same time, knocking each other out and effectively ending the fight. It’s here where things got a little weird. Instead of the fight being declared a tie, referees waited to see which of the fighters was more knocked out.

In the end Vasquez came to first, and was named the winner. This is one of the weirder things you’ll see.
