Watch a weightlifter deadlift so much weight his body starts leaking blood

Ever seen that person at the gym who is straining way too hard? OK let’s take that person, dial them up to one million, and watch this man bleed out his dang pores while deadlifting.

This is just not right. It’s not right at all. Sure, lifting 826 pounds is no easy feat, but if your body is rupturing from the inside to the point that blood is running down your chest, then maybe, just maybe, you should make it a cardio day.

Believe it or not, this phenomenon isn’t unheard of. It’s called “Hematidrosis” and occurs when the body is put under so much strain that capillaries, which feed sweat glands, rupture. This causes the person to literally sweat their own blood.

Maybe this is what happened to Buzz Williams last week?
