High school referee throws down the sickest windmill dunk these kids have ever seen

Referees don’t seem like the type of folks who would break from protocol and have fun. Fans often see them as stoic beings who sometimes make questionable calls that don’t go favorably for our favorite teams. And that’s fine. But sometimes it’s pretty awesome to see an official surprise everyone by doing something no one expected him to do.

That’s what this high school referee did at an All-Star basketball game in Missouri. He threw up a shot to set himself up for a dunk, and then he threw down one of the sickest windmill dunks these high school kids have ever seen. The only thing that would’ve improved the dunk video is if a loud trap song started blasting when the ball went through the rim.

This is proof that we need more referees doing sick dunks, and if possible, participating in dunk contests. Let’s have this referee take on Zion Williamson in a dunk contest, please.
