The children were wearing blacked-out ski goggles and were told by the announcer to walk around the court until they found a special guest. When they finally removed the goggles, they realized it was their dad standing there, Major Samuel Sanderson who had been away on multiple deployments with the Army National Guard, most recently being away from home for six months.
