USA celebrated the World Baseball Classic win with a giant eagle statue

Team USA celebrated its World Baseball Classic win over Puerto Rico in the most America way possible. Phillies pitcher Pat Neshek ran from the dugout while players were celebrating on the field, and in his arms was pure patriotism distilled into one beautiful statue:

A prized piece of porcelain perfection, this resplendent eagle is so majestic that you might do a double take and think it was real. As soon as Neshek put it on the ground, the team huddled around it and made it a part of the celebration.

Its impromptu appearance during a celebratory hug was one of the highlights of the night:
