Kawhi Leonard went off on Monday night. The Spurs forward dominated on both sides of the court and sunk the game-winning three over the Rockets, which prompted an appropriate (albeit random) response from the NBA.
Kawhi Leonard picked for random drug test after destroying the Rockets

Who can blame the league, really? They just witnessed Kawhi go off and drop 39 points on the No.3 team in the west, drain the game-winning three and vault himself into the MVP discussion.
It’s times like this that a random drug test doesn’t feel quite so random. It’s like that time the Steelers kicker got hit with a “random” drug test after he nailed six field goals in a game.
The sad part about this is that Kawhi couldn’t enjoy the win and relish in his own performance. Poor dude had to wait in the back until he could pee, and that’s just sad. Peeing on command is difficult, especially when you have adrenaline running through your veins after leading your team to a huge win.
Let’s be clear here: The test was 100 percent random and it’s not like the league was out to check Kawhi, but it’s one heck of a coincidence.
