Blazers beat Spurs on busted play and Gregg Popovich laughs it off
A win is a win for the Blazers!

The NBA season is winding down and because of that, some of the plays can get a little sloppy. But that typically happens for teams that are out of the playoffs and it allows teams to see what younger players can provide a team.
The Spurs and Blazers had a sloppy possession of their own, but they’re both heading to the playoffs. You can blame it on the fact that they’re already focused on the postseason. But this was one of the most absurd possessions in recent memory and it gets even weirder since this was a game-winner.
Portland needed a basket and had the ball. They had everything they needed to get the win.
But that’s when Shabazz Napier stumbled on a screen and everything went wrong. The Meyers Leonard screen resulted in the Blazers big man kicking the ball out of Napier’s hands. The ball then bounced from between a few Spurs and Blazers until Noah Vonleh was lucky enough to be in the right spot at the right time and the it showed up at his feet. He was under the basket anyway and snuck in the game-winner. Portland won, 99-98. Just like they drew it up.
All Gregg Popovich could do was laugh.
