This hilarious turnover shows the Wizards and Heat are ready for the NBA regular season to end
Farewell, regular season.
Senioritis is alive and well in the NBA. We saw that happen between the Spurs and the Blazers, which became the most absurd game-winner. But the Heat and Wizards are trying to match that possession. They might have won that battle, actually.
It starts off as your typical fastbreak, then Trey Burke gets a basketball to the face. At this point, no one really knows what is going on.
A basketball to the noggin is sure to make every player slow down to see if everyone is okay. Not on this play. Goran Dragic shows up at the right time for what is loosely considered a steal, but he slips and loses the ball too.
After that, every Wizard and Heat player within range of the ball go for the dive until Miami gets it back. Then they immediately lose it on yet another bad pass to no one.
It wasn’t pretty, but it was entertaining.
