It’s well known that Spurs coach Gregg Popovich loves wine, and he also likes tipping generously. On April 21, Popovich went to McEwen’s in Memphis and tipped $5,000 on a $815.73 bill.

A Reddit user posted this screenshot sent from a friend. San Antonio played at Memphis on the 20th and the 22nd. McEwen’s is an upscale restaurant with an extensive wine list, which is is why Popovich probably went there in his night off between games.

According to the San Antonio Express-News, Coach Pop has been to the establishment before but they would not confirm that he showed up on the 21st. But the signature on his receipt does match sports memorabilia that he has signed in the past.
