Minor league outfielders’ unfortunate collision results in hilarious home run

Welp.

Remember the Jose Canseco blooper from 24 years ago when he was at the warning track to make a catch, only to have the ball bounce off his head, resulting in a home run? Well, this is about as close as you can get to that.

This play happened during a game between the Greensboro Grasshoppers, the Class A affiliate for the Miami Marlins, and the Kannapolis Intimidators, the Class A affiliate for the Chicago White Sox. The Grasshoppers’ Alex Jones hit a fly out to left-center when the center fielder briefly caught the ball, only to have it bounce off of the left fielder and over the wall for a home run.

Hurts to miss that one!
