Sir Patrick Stewart drank champagne out of Daniel Ricciardo’s gross racing shoe

Australian F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo is known for celebrating by “doing a shoey,” where he drinks champagne out of his shoe after a race — and on Sunday he was joined by Sir Patrick Stewart.

The shoey is a uniquely Australian tradition that has been brought to the world by Ricciardo, who finished third in the Canadian Grand Prix over the weekend. It’s gross to drink out of your own sweaty shoe, but Stewart one-upped EVERYONE by drinking it out of Ricciardo’s shoe.

Sir Patrick Stewart is better than any of us.
