Soccer player hangs onto opponent’s jersey and gets dragged around the field

Running is overrated. You get hot, sweaty, and there’s always a chance you could twist your ankle. That’s why Pau Morer had the right idea when he decided to hitch a ride on an opponent.

This is a rare moment in sports where “being dragged” applies literally. It’s such a brash disregard for the rules that you have to love it. The 21-year-old midfielder plays for Sandefjord in the Norwegian league and decided over the weekend to hold on tight and travel a rather impressive distance across the pitch.

Obviously he got called for a foul on the play — it’s just so beautiful to watch.
