Klay Thompson signed a toaster three months ago, and the Warriors have won 28 out of 29 games since. You’ve probably seen the memes:
Klay Thompson says he’ll buy Warriors a toaster if they sweep Cavs in NBA Finals
Since Klay signed a toaster, his team has been on a ROLL.

The best part about the one loss Golden State has had since the signing is that it happened when Thompson didn’t play — meaning since the toaster signing, Klay Thompson has not lost a basketball game. It is because of the toaster. The toaster is doing this!
After the Warriors Game 1 win against the Cavs, he agreed to buy the team a toaster if they sweep:
“I don’t know if we’ll do it. It’s gonna be pretty hard, against the Cavs especially. But yeah, I’ll gladly buy the whole team a toaster if we go 16-0. It’ll be incredibly difficult.”
We’re not sure who will sign the toaster or how many toasters there’ll be, but Klay is here to spread the wealth of toaster luck ... if it works like that.
Winning four straight games against a LeBron James team is nearly impossible, but Thompson’s teammates should be heavily motivated for the chance to possess a magic appliance.
Just three more games to go.
