Washington Square FC, an amateur soccer club based in Brookline, Mass., got itself a new sponsor for its jerseys. Congratulations to them! Wait, hold on a second ... are they really sponsored by ... RedTube?

Yup, it looks like this club is sponsored by RedTube, the adult website. The company found out about the club needing a sponsor through Twitter. They reached out and RedTube responded within minutes.

Jon, Washington Square FC’s team captain, talked about it to MassLive:

“We have to buy jerseys, field equipment,” said team captain Jon, who declined to share his last name. “We thought we’d go big and try to find someone to bring in a revenue stream.”

You have to commend Jon and his club for aiming high. It worked, after all. Now opposing teams can look at those jerseys and say, “What’s that sponsor? I don’t know what that is. Is that some sort of toothpaste?” We know you know.
