Charles Barkley’s only ‘keys to the game’ for the Cavaliers in Game 4 are prayer
Bold strategy. And it kinda worked?
Charles Barkley has faith in the Cleveland Cavaliers, sort of. And it kinda worked!
With Cleveland down 0-3 in the NBA Finals, everything needed to go right for the team to bounce back and win the Larry O’Brien Trophy. It has never been done before, but these are the same Cavaliers that became the first team to win despite being down 3-1 last year. After winning Game 4, they now need to become the second.
But for the Cavs to overcome this, Barkley recommended before the game that they add a few more key pieces to their roster. Those players include the Dalai Lama, Jesus, and the pope. In a way, they had Jesus on their side last season when J.R. Smith was seen in his now-famous Jumpshot Jesus shirt. That same image also made an appearance in Game 3.
Have we seen the pope’s handles before? It doesn’t matter. You have to try anything to win at this point. Maybe these guys secretly suited up in Game 4.
