The last big fish on the NHL free agent market is Alexander Radulov, and one hockey family is apparently being torn apart by the race for him.
Alexander Radulov’s free agency has come down to Canadiens vs. Stars bubble hockey game
The Benn brothers will settle this, fair and square.
Per TSN insider Pierre LeBrun, two teams are vying for Radulov’s high asking price (believed to be seven years): the Montreal Canadiens and Dallas Stars. He played for the Canadiens last season.
As it just so happens, Jamie Benn is the Stars’ captain. His brother, Jordie, plays for Montreal.
Oh no.
We never learned who won the game, and thus, Radulov’s heart.
UPDATE: We now know who won the game, and is it a hint the Stars have won the Radulov sweepstakes?
UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: It was.
