McGregor’s words follow a story Monday that Mayweather is asking for a reprieve from the IRS on his 2015 taxes, claiming he doesn’t have the liquidity to pay them. Documents filed to tax court outline that he has a “major liquidity event,” coming in six weeks, which would be his purse from the fight.
Floyd, meanwhile, is showing off what he paid the IRS already and claiming it’s a mistake.
