Patty Schnyder paused mid-tennis match to make sure her daughter didn’t get sunburned

Being a mom is a 24/7, 365-day job — even when you’re in the middle of a tennis match. On Thursday, Patty Schnyder was playing in the Round of 16 at the WTA Swiss Open when she noticed her daughter’s arms might get sunburned while watching from the stands.

This is just darn good parenting, and I appreciate the reminder. As the father of a young daughter, I’d never remember to do this ever. Thanks Patty, you are very good at sports and very good at being a mom.
