Rain and soccer do not mix well. On Saturday, the Women’s Euro quarterfinal between Germany and Denmark had a rain delay and was eventually postponed. Kickoff was supposed to start at 8:45 p.m. local time, but the field was too wet to play, which led to some frustration among fans, but also some funny moments with the grounds crew.
